Anyeong~

This is a review on another Goodal product called Goodal Silky Plus Soothing Gel Cream - Goodal is sub brand of Clio and is endorsed by Kpop Queen Lee Hyori. Today review is one of Goodal's bestseller products called Goodal Silky Plus Soothing Gel Cream, their other best seller is Super Seed Oil Plus Skin Mist - I did the review - to view click here

As per their product info what so special about this Gel Cream are:
Its made of 7 types of fermented super seeds for moisture protection meaning the skin instantly forms a protective barrier to hold moisture in.  The 7 super seeds ingredients are:

Sunflower Oil - revitalizing
Jojoba Oil - strengthen hydration
Camellia Oil - maintains moisture
Green Tea Seeds Oil - brightens
Argan Oil - elasticity care
Olive Oil - calm sensitive skin
Macadamia Oil - nourishes

The product claims to be fresh, non-sticky and non-oily, aims for quick absorption to skin with soft finish, the firming effect of oil also claims to be anti-wrinkle plus repair skin; it aims to hydrate and brightens skin as well. To be used as last step of skin care routine, to be spread to entire face and neck. The texture is light and easy to apply and absorb by skin.

Product Profile
Product Name: Goodal Silky Plus Soothing Gel Cream Review
Origin: Korea
Content: 50ml
Price: RM88.80
Available: Hermo/Watson

My thoughts:
The smell of this product is so refreshing, it's smells like combination of lemon, green tea... hard to describe but truly soothing and relaxing smell. The texture is velvety and gel like, easy to spread on skin and it glides, absorb easily and hydrating, non-oily and non-sticky. As you can see, I almost finishing the product, it's a good product to add on top of other daily moisturizer product. As for the brightening effect is very little, probably need a longer time to see the result. Overall a very good product to keep your skin hydrated and fresh looking. I will probably buy again when they have promotion price.

Product Profile
Product Name: Etude House Drawing Eye Brow

Description about this eye brow pencil:

  • Moisture with vitamin E soften the eyebrows
  • Great temperature resistance and proper hardness maintain a natural coloring

Simple packing

Sealed with the sticker

Remove the top and bottom cap and revealed the pencil at one side and brush the other side

I chosen Grey Brown 02

Swatch

My thoughts:
Pros:
- Natural looking color - good pigmentation
- Soft brush
- Angle tip
- Affordable
- Security seal
- 7 color to choose
- Needs no sharpener - twist to retract or raise up the pencil
- Not creamy - more on a chalky side
- Last a long time

Cons:
- Not lasting, easy to remove - just need to wipe off with tissue will remove most of the color

Overall a decent eye brow pencil, if you don't touch or rub it, it's quite long lasting. Considering the natural looking color and price, this is a catch.

Verdict:
I use this as sun block. This product have slight pink tone and the finish is slight shimmery and transparent. Not oily, but if you use heavy moisturizer cream and top this on, then your face will look shiny or dewy. Due to the light shimmery effect, this brighten face up. Light scent.

Liquid form, slight creamy, consistency a bit watery - easy to spread and apply on skin - has a light pink tone, although can't see from this photo

Pros:
Can be used as primer and sunblock SPF40 (for those not expose to sun long hour)
Brighten your face up - due to the natural light shimmery effect
Natural transparent light shimmery finish
No white cast
Moisturizing but not sticky - not drying on face

Cons
Not for those who looking for matte finish
I don't think suitable for oily skin, I suggest ask for a sample if you have oily skin - try it out first before buying full size

This is for those who are not expose to sun for long hour and would like sunblock that tone up their face or looking for primer with sun block function.

 Description in Japanese

Verdict
I don't usually use lip balm, I buy this due to years back I had very dry and crack lips, the skin on my lips was so dry it bleeds and the skin on my lips peels daily. I tried many lip balms it didn't get better some caused blister on my lips. Its so bad I went to the doctor and was given medicines for it, but it didn't get better, it only subside for 2 weeks and then back again, after that I went to the specialize and got jab, given oral medicines and cream to apply TT... It still didn't get better - still have dry lips TT... I endure this about 2 years. I understood that this condition was due to lack of vitamins especially vitamin B2.

At last I got to know this lip balm Moilip Shiseido from a pharmacist who told me she had the same problem before after noticing my cracked lips :( and she said this lip balm is superb, however this lip balm only available in Japan and need to buy online. I bought it online and use them - voila after a few weeks I no longer need to use lip balm, my lips was completely healed - back to normal lips - no skin peeling, no crack, no dry lips, it just my normal lips and I can use lip tint again. After Moilip, the second best was vaseline, but after I found Moilip, I no longer need vaseline or other lip balms. So grateful and thank God I am healed.

These are some of the lip balms I tried and some already discarded - not in this picture

Pros
Healed my severe dry lips
Transparent and glossy finish
Very comfortable on lips
Moisture lips
Contained vitamin E and B6
Affordable - last a along time
Keep lips smooth and hydrated
Very little scent - almost scentless - barely notice any

Cons
Not available locally, have to buy online (so be careful of  fake)

This is definitely the best lip balm I have tried, this beat all the more expensive and branded lip balms I have tried. The BEST purchase in life - worth every cents. Thanks Shiseido Moilip. Thanks God.

Verdict:
This primer mainly I use on T-zone where pores are visible. This stick blur out my pores with smooth silky finish. Scented with light pleasant smell. Etude house has the similar product in essence/liquid form. I choose the stick one, I know some might think it’s unhygienic, I apply only on clean freshly washed face, so I am okay with that. I tried a popular pore primer before as well which is Benefits Porefessional – however I have to discontinue using it after the first tried on my face results in rashes and redness on my face. But this Etude House one didn’t cause redness or rashes on me.

Can you see the difference?

Pros
Blur out pores
Silky smooth and matte finish, thanks the silica in the ingredients
Travel-friendly, small size, cute packing/color
Affordable
Don’t cause me redness or rashes

Cons
Don’t last all day for oily skin
Overall a good little helper if you need it just to last for a few hours.

Verdict:
This gel doesn’t leave a sticky feeling nor leave any residue after application. It absorb well on skin with cooling sensation and leaves a light fresh scent. I would rate the moisturizing level 2/5 but it soothe skin well, especially if you put in refrigerator and use as mask during summer - enjoy. It takes forever to finish one tube, don't buy too much of this if you are first time user, many shops try to sell few tubes as package, don’t fall for that. Try one tube first, see how it works for you.

Pros:
Affordable
Soothing on skin
Not sticky, easily absorb by skin
Leaves a cooling sensation

Cons:
Not moisturizing enough - doesn't locked moisture
Contained alcohol
Overrated product

I was curious about this product due to the many rave online, and have high expectation on this product, turn out disapointed due to not moisturizing enough - wrong expectation, this gel is mainly for soothing not moisturizing. I use it sometimes when my skin itch from air-condition dryness or when my skin itch due to mosquito bite, and its soothing, that is all about it, it soothe your skin. Still a decent product with this range of price tag.
